Blog

Welcome to The Penned Poppy, dear readers. This blog is a personal endeavour of mine, an exploration of the ideas, thoughts and complex questions which percolate in my mind. I wish to share with you philosophical inquiries on issues that you may not have considered; critical but casual analyses of questions that will, I hope, offer you provocative and/or different perspectives.

I wish to foster discussions, incite reflections and generally, an appreciation of Beauty, the human condition and nature, and the many things that we fundamentally ask ourselves as human beings.

More concretely, I intend to discuss meanings, the human condition, ethics & morals, beauty and ugliness, truth, and more. I draw on thinkers and authors, sometimes modern and sometimes not, and on my personal reflections (both originating from experience and from a priori thought).

Once again, welcome! I hope you enjoy reading. Let me know if you have thoughts, too – I would love to hear them.

Take care, and happy reading!

Denisa.

Let us attempt to better understand the power dynamics between reason and emotions, and importantly,…

I want to share some humanity, some experiences, some well-reasoned…
